MBA are proud to partner one of West Yorkshire's most innovative technology organisations in their search for an experienced Senior .Net Developer on a permanent basis.
This role will involve working on the design, development, testing, and implementation of changes to a range of web applications and utilities.
The primary role of the Senior .Net Developer will be to maintain a broad portfolio of existing applications across a number of technologies, and also play a key role in the development of our system going forwards.
You will be based on client site which will be (Leeds) with remote / working from home opportunities.
Senior .Net Developer - Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing and estimating new IT software requirements.
* Development and modification of new and existing software applications
* Assist in problem solving and troubleshooting software application issues.
* Ensuring that our applications and data are secure
* Verifying requirements with business stakeholders and users
* Produce suitable technical documentation for new and existing applications.
* Ensuring suitable unit and integration tests are included in each delivery
* Ensuring successful transition to Production
* Suggest improvements in order to drive efficiencies and increase productivity
Senior .Net Developer - Skills / Person
* Application development within a Microsoft .Net technology stack
(including web UI, service, communication, and database persistence frameworks)
* Planning, estimation and release management
* Unit, integration, and acceptance test automation
* Work management using Azure DevOps or equivalent ALM tools and Git source control
* Web client technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
* Relational and non-relational database systems
* Collaborative code design referencing common architectural and class design patterns
* Exposure to other technologies such as Classic ASP, Angular, JavaScript
The developer will ideally have exposure to, or a willingness to learn a wide variety of technologies including but not limited to: SQL Server, Entity Framework, Classic ASP, ASP.Net, Javascript, Angular (v.1), React.js, Backbone/Marionette, Telerik Components, YUI framework.
