We are working with a Key client, a leader in their sector, looking to high an experienced Security Operations Analyst to join their Head Office team based in Woking.

Reporting to the Head of IT Service Operations, you will join a team accountable for the Companies IT security. Day to day this will mean the monitoring of any security threat, proactive threat management, security incident management, system configuration and process creation.

The successful candidate will come from a similar role in an equally fast paced environment, and pocess much of the following skillsets:

• Security monitoring tools such as AlienVault
• Vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Cloud security (Azure and AWS)
• Endpoint client security. Including Bitlocker and MS ATP.

You will need the following knowledge and skills:

• IT Security incident management.
• Knowledge of Vendor baseline security and CIS benchmarks.
• A high level of Security incident troubleshooting.
• A good understanding of encryption methods, modern cipher suites and protocols.
• Experience of implementing system hardening practices.
• The ability to interface with 3rd party vendors and challenge or validate design proposals.
• The skills to rework poorly configured processes and procedures.
• Experience of PCI DSS
• Experience of working in a global environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of implementing NCSE Cyber Essentials + and ISO27001

In return the client will offer a starting base salary up to £55k plus benefits
