The Opportunity:

My client are a managed service provider currently looking for an MS SQL Server Engineer to be focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing expert guidance. You will be previewing new technology before others in the industry and learn how to make the best from it aswell as visiting customers to train them and share industry and development expertise.

Skills and Experience:

• SQL Server (On Premise) with skills across SSRS/SSIS/SSAS
• Datamodelling and database design, with indexing strategy experience
• Performance optimization and tuning capabilities
• Partitioning data implementations
• Metadata management and repository usage
• Database schema creation and management
• Backup and recovery, ensuring data integrity at all times
• Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery plans are kept covered at all times
• SQL code reviews with ability to dissect query plan, T-SQL code
• Data security, Data Encryption, Auditing, Replication of Data, etc.
• SQL Edition and version differences with discontinued and deprecated features
