My client is a leading London Market Insurer and they are looking for a dynamic and technology driven Product Owner with previous Insurance experience to join their Agile team, representing the voice of the customer and the organization through the delivery of business value.

Remote from home/Very limited travel to the office [London, City]

The existing team has responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships. Working closely with stakeholders (business and technology), including leadership, they define and prioritize features and stories, ensuring alignment with customer needs and global organizational goals. As the Product Owner, you must ensure there is an aligned understanding of how the team can provide the highest value to the customer through the lens of the portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

Act as primary liaison for Digital Opportunities for the client between business stakeholders and the Digital Opportunities Team
Understand the Product Roadmap and maintain and/or shape it over time
Gather, manage and prioritise the Product Backlog
Oversee the successful delivery of digital initiatives for the Digital Opportunities Team
Understand the technical platforms for e-trading across the end-to-end customer journey
Ensuring that any changes to legally-binding documents (like policy wordings) are 100% accurate
Collaborates with the Chief Product Owner (CPO) and Delivery Lead to create product vision and alignment with strategic priorities with stakeholders. Contributes to the development of the program vision. Communicates product and portfolio vision to their team.
With the team, accountable for developing and achieving product level KPIs. Manages product(s) with a moderate degree of strategy, scope, and complexity.

Required skills/experience:

Stakeholder management: experience of managing relationships with business stakeholders; a proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring close collaboration with development teams, is especially important
Digital expertise: a proven track record of successfully delivery digital initiatives which improve business performance
5+ years of experience in product management
Proven track record in working with business teams to identify business priorities and develop, test & deliver digital solutions which have a measurable impact on business performance
Deep technical knowledge and experience of working with digital solutions in the insurance market
Considerable relevant industry or functional experience in insurance
Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills
Demonstrable experience of delivering complex initiatives
Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working with or in Agile teams
