Infrastructure Engineer - SC Cleared

Location: Salisbury

Pay rate: £440pd Inside IR35

Duration: 240 days

Position: Infrastructure Engineer - SC Cleared

You must have Security Check clearance that has been used within the last 12 months.

Minimum Requirement:

• Maintain, document and support users of facilities
• Manage building Network Equipment Rooms and ensure they follow JSP440 guidance and best practices.
• Assist with the building asset registration and auditing as required.
• Keep all maintenance logs and patch management documentation up dated.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of a range of IT systems, including basic networking, Windows and Linux operating systems and vSphere virtualisation platforms.
• Knowledge of Joint Service Publication guidelines in particular JSP 440.
• Awareness of accreditation processes highly desirable.
• Experience creating and maintaining user guides for non-technical staff to follow.
• Knowledge of asset management practices.
• Must have a clean UK driving license, and be willing to undertake occasional travel.
• Hardware installation/configuring Servers & Switches
• VM build environment
