Our Client are looking for a Java Developer to join their financial services team working with a global investment bank.

As a Java Developer you will be working alongside a team of 25 people based in different locations across the world and you will be working across a number of projects within the bank including, business focused, regulatory focused and technical deliverables such cloud migrations on to a new Google Cloud Platform.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
* Previous experience working as a Java developer
* Excellent Java Server Side expertise: Java Core, Spring, JMS, Junit
* Experience with Maven, GIT, Jenkins/Team City
* Good understanding of SDLC processes and roles (Agile)
* Strong team player with experience of working in a global team
* Strong communication skills, ability to provide thoughtful input to architecture and solution design discussions

Desirable:
* Previous experience within financial services
* Apache Ignite/Hazelcast/Redis, Akka, Vert.x, RxJava, Kafka experience
* SLES bash Shell deep knowledge
* Experience in designing and implementing microservices
* Google Cloud Platform experience
* Experience in solving challenging and interesting tasks, participation in technical/architecture discussions.
* Experience working in high-skilled mature team on a complicated system using the best industry practices.
