Job Description

The Workday Lead Functional Analyst (reporting to the Workday Product manager) will be pivotal to the success of the newly formed Workday Application Support Team. The successful candidate will become the technical lead, adding Workday functional knowledge, expertise, coaching, and mentoring, focusing on Core HCM, Absence and Payroll.

In essence, you will become the technical lead for all things Workday!

Principal Accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate the day to day activities of the Workday Technical Support Team
  • Deployment of Workday production releases (twice a year) & the deployment of changes into production
  • Design, configure and system testing of functional changes in Payroll and Absence modules (Not including Bi-Annual release and testing)
  • Maintenance of Workday master data, mass data uploads (EIB) (Cost centres, re-org etc.)
  • Responsible for configuring security changes within Workday, including job and data roles, profiles, audits, configuration within the Payroll and Absence modules
  • Configure Workday application minor enhancements
  • Create and maintain supervisory organisation (location, cost centre)
  • Update of the Technical support team materials
  • Provide overall tenant support and maintenance
  • Provide Reporting 

Person Requirements - Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

  • Previous Workday Technical Lead Experience
  • 3 Years Workday Experience
  • Hands-on configuration experience with HCM, Absence and Payroll modules
  • Workday Certified an advantage
