Software Engineer/Java Engineer - Java, Kafka, Big Data, AWS

Outstanding opportunity to join this highly regarded, industry leading, digital transformation technology services company as a Software Engineer/Java Engineer.

This business provides architectural, technical and thought leadership to enterprise scale, prestigious organisations with highly complex technical landscapes who are looking to deliver major digital transformations of their applications and data, building new or re-engineering existing applications and migrating all in the cloud (AWS). You'll already be working with contemporary technologies and massive data sets and are keen to work with emerging technologies alongside industry thought leaders utilising the latest open source and cloud technologies twinned with cutting-edge architectures and practises.

You'll need to following skills and experience:

• 3+ years developing in Java
• Hands on development of applications making use of Kafka and Kafka Streams/Samza for data ingestion, transformation, and processing
• Good knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Back End programming, specifically Java with understanding of design patterns such as Dependency Injection
• Exposure to Big Data technologies
• The ability to retain SC Clearance

£45k-£80k + bonus & benefits. London & remote.
