Working within a Team of three dedicated Engineers to support a long-term project. Ensuring Customer expectations can be met within the planned parameters on timing, costs and use of available resources. Able to manage a Team of two Build/Imaging Engineers (This may rise to 8 Engineers during 2022).
Requirements
- Previous Team Leader/Managerial experience - Essential
- Highly proficient in MS Office especially Excel reporting - Essential
- Knowledge/Experience of a high-volume build project.
- Suitable security clearance or able to pass a security clearance check.
- Hardware break/fix or experience of an SCCM deployment project would be desirable.
- Attention to detail.
- Great administration skills.
- A Team player.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that customer expectations are being met and exceeded.
- Managing a Team of up to 8 Engineers.
- Responsible for the daily output to required daily/weekly targets.
- Ensure quality of delivery to clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Installation and configuration of operating systems.
- Manage logging of hardware warranty events as necessary through to completion.
- Production of reports.
- Production of daily KPI's.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues during builds.
- Effective communication to keep customer account teams fully appraised of all build and install activities. This includes senior project/account Managers
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Risk Management procedures during all activities
- Follow technical process and procedural documents.
- Reporting to the ITLM Hardware Engineering Manager.
Person Specification
- IT background and experience in enterprise deployment technologies would be desirable
- Minimum of 2 years managing a Team (2-8).
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and risk management.
- Knowledge of and understanding of best practice in carrying out installs.
- Experience participating in large scale projects and teams.
- Self-motivated.
