Algorithmic Trading Engineer - Investment Bank - Java

My client is one of the oldest banks in the world, with offices based in London, Frankfurt and New York. They offer a wide range of services through their divisions of Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Wealth and Asset Management.

This role requires a Java engineer with experience in an equity trading environment. The ideal candidate will also have good understanding of React and Python, and any experience with Kubernetes and Docker would be nice to have.

The successful candidate will be designing and building Java engines for trading algo orders, as well as supporting Real Time trading desktops and developing data analytics.

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong Java experience
• Experience working in equities
• Banking knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ideally, knowledge of React and Python
• Ideally, knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker

This is a permanent role, flexible around a VP level salary.
