Role: Application Support Engineer
Location: South London - but open to candidates that need mostly remote
Salary: £32,000-45,000
Our client is looking for experienced Application Support Engineers to join their expanding team. Please note, this role requires development experience.
Job description:
- Escalation point for technical issues relating to a number of production systems
- Diagnosis and resolution of incidents on their bespoke web systems and applications
- Perform hands-on fixes (inc. system and application configuration, installation and upgrade of software)
- Working with the engineering team to proactively test platforms for potential issues and document bugs
Experience/skills required:
- Some form of development experience - specifically C#/.Net
- Experience in web application support
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
- Proactive work ethic
- Good problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Knowledge or exposure to AWS or Azure
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Familiar with Git, Powershell and understanding of web technology concepts
