Details:
We are looking for someone to conduct quantitative analysis and work with data. The successful candidate will be skilled in using a range of quantitative methods to produce robust findings and presenting them to have impact for customers. They will be motivated to develop their skills in a fast-moving policy environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and assess a range of data and support product development activity, often working to tight timeline.
Find, analyse and manipulate data sets to answer policy and operational questions.
Communicate and clearly present key insights to key stakeholders.
Successfully manage their time and the priorities effectively.
Work at pace to progress differing tasks and managing expectations of their stakeholders.
Develop good working relationships internally and externally.
Skills and experience:
Essential
Ability to work in an analytical team
Experience of conducting complex analysis, for example:
o Regression (linear, logistic)
o Probability and hypothesis testing
o Clustering
o Machine learning
Ability to analyse messy/incomplete data and draw clear insights
Ability to communicate research findings clearly
Deliver at pace
Desirable
Experience of working with R, Python, Stata, PowerBI
Experience of working in a relevant field (eg health-related)
Security Clearance: full BPSS, if successful
