Contract Solutions Architect - Integration focus - £525 per day (Inside IR35)
We are recruiting for a growing organisation seeking a Contract Solutions Architect (inside IR35) with 50/50 hybrid working based in London or Ipswich for 4 months initially.
As a contract solutions architect you will be focused on application integration. The role requires an experienced candidate who has proven ability in setting up integration platforms (IPaaS) where you will continue to contribute to develop and maintain architectural principles, standards, and patterns for the company.
Key Accountabilities
- Design solutions and oversee implementations to deliver strategic IT goals;
- Deliver short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software;
- Ensure that proposed solutions and existing IT components are aligned with organisational goals and objectives;
- Architect, implement and oversee all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business and technical requirements;
- Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to wider IT team;
- Contribute towards the Development, documentation, and communication of plans for investing in architecture, including analysis of IT application and infrastructure portfolio and cost reduction opportunities;
- Contribute to document the company's existing systems architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives;
- Review new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans;
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to refine/define business and non-functional requirements, scope of the IT projects;
- Collaborate with business analysts to model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models;
Skills & experience- Experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans;
- Experience in developing SaaS, PaaS, IaaS solutions;
- Experience in systems and network design and development;
- Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices;
- Technical knowledge of modern software, protocols, and standards, including Cloud based services;
- Knowledge of software/system evaluation principles and practices;
- Experience in using tools to develop artefacts, including Visio, MS Office Products, etc.;
- Have an ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
- Have attention to detail and ability to QA own and other team member's work;
- Can make and guide effective decisions, explaining clearly how the decision has been reached;
- Be aware of and keep up to date with evolving technologies and architectural practices;
- Know how to ensure that risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented;
- Experience with information and application security concepts, mechanisms, and tools;
- Awareness of end-user computing and collaborative technologies
