New Business Development Manager

We have a unique opportunity with our client who are a leading solutions provider in the technology sector.

We are looking for a talented New Business Development Manager who can build strong relationships with their existing client base and drive New Business forward. The role is a 80/20 split with an onus on New Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential new clients.
  • Proactively cold call, network, canvass new businesses, utilise email campaigns and build relationships by understanding a potential customer's pain points and providing a solution using the range of products and services our client offers.
  • Identify and develop any sales opportunities from both existing and enquiring businesses.
  • Account Manager existing customers and develop their understanding of our clients products and services.
  • Help potential customers solve their business problems through excellent consultation, this will be done both remotely and face to face.
  • Identify needs and offer advice & guidance on products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Manage the complete sales process from concept to completion.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: articulate, confident, self-aware, and a personable character.
  • Ability to "put yourself in the clients shoes" and think from their perspective to achieve the desired end result.
  • An interest in the technology industry would be beneficial.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, creative thinker with an appreciation of business goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise key tasks.
