Infrastructure Specialist (Converged) - VMWare, Virtualisation, (Top 3 F1 Team)

Are you a competent Infrastructure Specialist that has a thirst for working in a highly innovative environment? This appointment will take you both inside and outside of the F1 domain, working on an array of projects across multiple industry verticals. My client is looking for a Converged Infrastructure Specialist to help with simplifying and improving the platforms and services that underpin the virtualisation requirements for the team.

You will be the subject matter expert / technical lead for virtualisation services and infrastructure, owning the current and future state, whilst working on some very exciting new projects which include VMWare cluster consolidation, VMWare version upgrades and an overhaul of the simulator compute platform to name a few.

This role would suit an experienced infrastructure specialist with extensive experience of implementing and managing VMWare ESXi platforms and underlying host infrastructure. You will also possess experience of the latest versions of Windows Server OS, backup solutions and scripting languages. Any experience with containerisation and Open-Source platforms would be highly desirable.
