What will you be working on
You will work on world leading technology that provides a game changing services for consumers and businesses alike. I am helping them recruit for a talented and experienced technical manager who can define and implement their Internet Standards strategy. Working with the IETF, Broadband Forum and 3GPP, you can be helping shape the future of telecoms.

Who will you be working for
This exciting business have gone from strength to strength in their market, growing rapidly over the last several years and expanding their operations globally, through continuous evolution of their product and engaging new markets around the world. Located in Ipswich but with a relaxed and flexible working pattern, you will be able to work in their offices on a hybrid basis and will collaborate closely with engineers and developers plus the senior leadership team to ensure the best possible product is produced.

What you will need to have - skills & responsibilities

  • 5+ years of working with one or more standards bodies (IETF, 3GPP, Broadband Forum)
  • In-depth understanding of how the bodies work / who to influence
  • Experience of helping define requirements and work with third parties to create a new standards specification
  • Excellent knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, MPTCP, MP-DCCP, GRE, multicast
  • Good documentation skills
