My client is are an Arms-Length organisation, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a joint commitment to ensuring that people have access and guidance to the information they need to make effective financial decisions over their lifetime. The organisation will also engage with HM Treasury, which is responsible for policy on financial capability and debt advice.
As the Data Acquisition and Partnership Manager, you will be expected to lead on an innovative project to deliver data insights across the country and to give a rich understanding of financial wellbeing both at a local and national level. We expect to deliver a new reporting framework that obtains data from sector partners, internally generated data sets, government and open data. You will need to bring the data alive in a statistically meaningful way. You will be an integral part of the new Innovation capability, which aims to bring data driven innovation to the heart of the organisation. This is a senior role, delivering for a high profile programme of work.

- The ability to present data beautifully and draw users into the meaning behind the data
- Senior Data Analyst experienced in industry-standard agile methodologies
- Comprehensive internal and external Stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage relationship and delivery of published financial wellbeing data through a government procured supply chain.

About you:
- Experience of data quality, governance and management techniques
- Visualization experience especially visualizing complex interrelated data sets on geographical basis. Experience with GIS techniques
- Experience of Commissioning and procurement data pipelines
- The ability to manage a data supply chain, including developers, non-commercial data providers and government organisations
- Implementation of open data sharing arrangements
- Where required use advanced analytics (including ML and AI) to enable complicated questions to be visualised simply
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure data stack such as PowerBI, Synapse, Purview
- Experience of GIS data processing
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract with a review to extend. Remote working is available and a salary between £75,000-£80,000 is on offer.
