Java DevOps Engineer - £695 outside IR35 - 6 month contract

This is a large European investment bank.

Your new role
You will be working as part of a front-office Product Development technology team responsible for delivery of software for the client's Agency electronic-trading business. They provide the best in class award winning execution trading algorithms, smart order routing and direct market access for a large number of global clients both internally and externally.

You will also deliver on DevOps projects and initiatives to improve our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have:

• Knowledge of Core Java, scripting languages and modern SDLC and CI/CD technologies (e.g. TeamCity, GitHub/GitLab, Gradle, Python, Linux);
• Experience working on DevOps projects in a server-side Java/Linux environment to automate build and deployment processes, integrate with services and systems that provide user authentication & authorisation and/or monitoring capabilities to the main trading applications;
• Hands-on experience of agile software development practices and methodologies, automated testing and CI/CD build and deployment processes
