.Net Developer

.Net Developer - Nottingham/Telford - GBP 35,000 DOE

I am currently working with an industry-leading client who is looking for a .Net Developer to join their dynamic IT Team.

My client offers a hybrid working structure, you would work 2-3 days in the office each week. My client has offices based in Telford and Nottingham.

The successful applicant must have at least 2-3 years of commercial experience in a software developer role.

Experience Required:

• Utilise established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to .Net Core, C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS
• and JavaScript
• Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems
• Understanding how to integrate with other 3rd party platforms
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
• Experience with code versioning tools (Git)
• Capacity to use SQL with ease
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

Desirable:

• Exposure to cloud technologies, ideally Azure
• Knowledge of React JavaScript library or similar
• Understanding of Lean/Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL
• Knowledge of practices such as TDD, BDD and continuous delivery
