Data Engineer

An AWS consulting partner has a 6 month, fully reomte and outside of IR35 contract opportunity for an AWS Data Engineer with strong developer/programmatic skills in Python and Pyspark to work for a large and recognisable UK based Financial Services client.

Experience across the AWS Data stack with Glue, Lambda and S3 are essential as the project environment is within SDLF (serverless datalake framework).

Redshift modelling or Schema/Star Schema experience is also essential as the successful candidate will be making data available to Tableau dashboards. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and have hands on experience migrating and running complex transformations of large and varied formats using AWS Glue and Lambda.
