Role: Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: UK/Remote

Salary: Up to £100,000 + Commission

The Opportunity

My Client, a rapid-growth Cloud Technology Scale-Up are currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Pre-Sales Engineer to play an essential role in the attraction and onboarding of new customers, working closely with their growing Sales and Technology functions.

The Role

  • Define solutions to customer opportunities, acting as an SME, providing technical expertise across the Product Suite to potential clients
  • Create and deliver Scope of Works, Time & Cost estimates and professional proposals alongside the Sales Team to meet each client's individual requirements
  • Think creatively when considering Solution Designs, drawing on research of emerging technologies, trends, and products
  • Ensure a smooth transition between Pre-Sales and Service Delivery teams once the customer has been engaged

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in providing Enterprise Solution Design and Deployment
  • Microsoft Azure solution Design Experience
  • Cloud Strategy experience
  • Ability to translate customer requirements using technical knowledge to architect a suitable solution for the engagement
  • Ability to present solutions to clients through formal and informal gatherings
  • Strong experience with gathering client requirements and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of systems design principles, requirements specifications, standards development and practices
  • The ability to coach and educate other team members, particularly in technical skills and understanding
  • Able to operate successfully in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
