Reporting to the Performance Analytics manager we are looking for a skilled analyst who will be responsible for the assessment of commercial performance of the business, providing analytical support for business decisions, data insights and the day to day KPI and P&L monitoring. The ideal candidate will have experience within data driven analytics, exposure to different key stakeholders across the business, a strong mathematical background, good communication skills, a real team player and excellent presentation skills. This is a highly dynamic role, which gives you great exposure to various data sources and challenges to understand the numbers and analyse behavioural trends.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitor KPI trends daily, providing key stakeholders with insights into trends and risk areas
- Proactively suggest improvements and changes that will improve KPI Performance
- Manage the P&L budget process, ensuring EBITDA targets are met
- Work with the CRM, VIP & Games department, as well as Regional Managers to understand strategic plans and key growth opportunities
- Provide analysis NOT Data! You need to be able to interpret the findings concisely that is easy to digest for all stakeholders
- Provide timely and accurate monthly reporting of KPIs
- Provide support for the development of predictive models, customer segmentation studies, and reports
- Identify, recommend, and implement quality and efficiency improvements to the analytics processes.
- Understand performance and explain the story behind the numbers
- Prepare data sets for the analysis by querying multiple data sources
- Drive continuous improvement in the tools and techniques used for analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve business/marketing performance
- Manage Snr. Stakeholder Expectations
- Use abstract thinking and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems
- Answer business questions using data and analytic techniques, providing fact-based responses
Essential:
- Extensive experience in a data analytics role,
- Commercial background on P&L level
- Degree in science, economics, mathematics, computer science, or statistics
- Ability to transform complex facts and figures into plain English that can be easily understood, coupled with exceptional presentation skills
- Exceptional data wrangling skills dealing with complex datasets to combine and automate the analytics workflow
- Strong Knowledge of SQL
- Proficiency in Python, R or equivalent
- Experience in reporting tools Tableau / Microstrategy or similar
- Excellent understanding of KPIs, business processes and data context.
