Job Description

SearchDATA is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join one of our clients on a permanent basis.

Our client is looking to grow their Customer Platform team within IT and are looking to bring in a new Digital Business Analyst. They are a fast paced and changing company who are looking to enhance their digital capabilities and presence.

This role will work within an Agile team supported by other Business Analysts, a Product Owner and IT Analysts who are responsible for the development and upkeep of AAGs online presence. This role sits within IT but facilitates work from many areas such as Marketing, Product and Sales. You will be responsible for activities on projects and programmes of all sizes.

You will be able to understand the business needs and be able to creatively shape and refine digital business solutions to meet those needs. This role would be suitable for someone with a few years of experience who is looking for the next step in their career where they can ultimately own and manage their own projects.

You will have:

  • A good understanding of the role of a Business Analyst and a passion for continuous improvement and delivering effective, efficient solutions.
  • Ability to learn quickly when facing new problems and enjoys the challenge of facing unfamiliar tasks.
  • Experience with digital asset management, content management solutions, web and mobile solutions.
  • Experience structuring digital content, templates and components to optimise digital assets and execution.
  • An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and manage expectations.

You will have an opportunity to work on various projects, alongside collaborative and friendly colleagues. This role can be based either in Manchester, Bradford or Birmingham and will require you to be based in the office 1-2 days/week, and the rest of the time you will be working remotely.
