UI Developer - React

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a UI Developer - React for one of their Banking Clients based in Northampton, UK.

• IR35: This role is inside of IR35
• Initial duration: 6 months + extensions

What will you be doing?:

• Collaborate and communicate with other developers to build technical solutions
• Collaborate and communicate with design & UX teams, to understand experience and brand
• Support technical decision making, that requires a good understanding of the problem domains
• Promote & drive innovation by actively advocating new tools, processes and technical developments to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant and up to date knowledge of applications and techniques.

What we're looking for:

• Good understanding of End-to-end software development life cycle, with working knowledge of Agile Software development techniques
• Good understanding of OO Programming, Functional Programming, Design and associated concepts. Coupled with strong experience of JavaScript & frameworks/libraries (eg Angular x, React), Node.js
• Responsive development with CSS & CSS pre-processors
• Version Control Software & code management

Skills Required:

• Industry experience in Test Driven Development with UI e2e testing, and build tools
• Experience building to Accessibility Standards (WCAG)
• Understanding of CI/DevOps
• Understanding state management (Redux)
