UK Insurance Company operating within both Home and Motor insurance currently seeks an Agile Project Manager to play a key role in the delivery and enhancements of a web based digital insurance distribution platform which enables partner firms to sell personal lines insurance products to a global market.

The successful candidate will manage the team and project within an Agile methodology, from a client (partner) facing position but in a purely hands-off capacity. The Agile Project Manager will gather requirements, define scope, plan and manage the execution of project deliverables. This will be done by coordinating closely between Agile digital delivery teams, product teams and business units (actuarial risk, underwriting, operations etc).

Secondly, the Agile Project manager will allocate work within each specific workstream and work with the team to identify issues and ultimately select the best route to solve problems following recommendations from Senior Developers. You will act as the point of contact for the Product Owners, BAs, Technical Architects as well as the internal and, critically, external clients and play a role within the strategic architectural decision making process to ensure solutions design are deliverable within the parameters of the technologies employed. You will be heavily involved in sprint planning and all Agile/Scrum ceremonies and have a strong understanding of Product Ownership and roadmap management inc using JIRA for user stories and tickets.
