Software and Applications Engineer

Software and Applications Engineer required for my client based near Northwich, Cheshire.

My client are looking for software engineers with a background within software, computer science or electronics engineering.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fresh graduate or engineer with two to three years experience, who is looking for their first / a new opportunity within the engineering industry.

As a graduate software engineer you will work alongside senior team members to specify and deliver a range of key objectives to support and develop products.

Software and Applications Engineer Overview

• Working alongside senior team members to specify, generate and evaluate code.
• Meeting mission and time - critical deadlines for product delivery.
• Assisting specification and delivery of new product development.
• Developing CM plans, policies and procedures.

Software Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree qualified within; software, computer science or electronic engineering is essential.
• Knowledge within; C#. NET, MS Visual Studio, ASPX / ASP.NET, SQL server MS SQL.
• Desirable knowledge: ASP.NET, Web Form Controls, W3.CSS, Bootstrap, DevExpress Web/ WinForms toolsets.
• Appreciation of electronics/mechanical design, methods & production techniques.
• Understanding of firmware review and revision control (C++ / ARM).
• Commutable distance of Northwich, Cheshire.
• Full UK Driving License is desirable.

Software Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary - £25,000 to £32,000 - dependent upon experience.
• Full Time Position - (36.75 hours per week).
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
• Company Pension Scheme.
