DevOps Engineer - Cambridge - £50-80k

The opportunity for an experienced DevOps engineer has become available in central Cambridge. My client are a world leading Automotive Software firm. Having had a successful introduction of DevOps into their environment, they are looking to recruit a new engineer to the team.

This role will see you working on a multitude of projects. You will be reporting to the head of DevOps and working in a team of passionate engineers. The main areas of focus will be Infrastructure, Maintenance, Scalability, continuous integration and continuous deployment/task automation. The cloud platform is AWS, but experience in Azure will be satisfactory if used to a high standard.

Whilst training and guidance will be provided, it is essential that you are familiar with the DevOps methodology and environment. A good academic background will be very helpful to your application.

Necessary Skills:

• Experience in previous DevOps Role
• AWS (Azure/GCP Satisfactory)
• Understanding of Cloud/IaaS/PaaS
• Experience with Containerisation technologies

Desirables:

• Chef/Puppet/Ansible/Terraform
• Experience with Lambda/EC2/DynamoDB
• Stakeholder management, Experience in Consulting
• Bamboo, Jenkins, Travis
