The Role

Are you an experienced Java developer? Do you have proven experience in using FX Framework and data structures, coupled with good command on the Java programming language? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are a dust extraction system automation company, based in Desborough, Northamptonshire, looking to appoint an Advanced Java Developer to support the responsibilities of a Java Developer, which includes working with software architects to ensure quality network frameworks and identifying issues that affect product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of an Advanced Java Developer include, but are not limited to:

• You will produce SOLID code with excellent test coverage.
• Providing support to colleagues reporting into you.
• Identifying own and others' development needs and seeking opportunities to address these needs through guidance, coaching and formal training.
• Fulfilling all mandatory training requirements, remaining current on all regulations and compliance rules and administrative functions.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Advanced Java Developer are:

• Good command on the Java programming language.
• Proven experience in using FX Framework and data structures.
• Experiece in C++, SQL (MS-SQL preferred) & XML.
• Good knowledge of emerging software development methods, tools and standards and actively keeping this knowledge current.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
