Job Description

The IT Asset Administrator core focus areas will be to build processes and track Hardware Asset Management, Software management, Mobile devices across all our offices Globally!

The role will focus on providing support for the End User Services department ensuring administration, process, documentation and standards are completed to best practice principles.

Prepare process and assist in tracking EUS budget v Actuals. You'll be working closely with the Head of EUS Support services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build robust process for Hardware Asset management and ensure Assets assigned matches what people are accessing. Where there are mismatches raise with local support teams to resolve, hence having accurate HW AM globally. Having accurate HW AM also includes up to date and accurate Stock and detail around end of life for forward LCM planning
  • Implement improvements in ServiceNow asset tracking like bar code scanning for assets, standard process across locations
  • Tracking actual spend versus EUS budgets, working with Accounts to gather date and prepare EOM EUS Budget versus actuals for all EUS areas, CAPEX and OPEX
  • Software license management for supported applications, tracking usage versus contract amounts
  • Mobile SIM contract management, ensuring all SIMS are in ServiceNow and process clear for all locations.
  • Where areas identified for process improvement, lead change in these areas
  • Focus on areas of consolidation to reduce numbers of models, contracts and cost
  • Tracking and management of IT related assets through their lifecycle (stock to disposal) using ServiceNow
  • Documentation of processes and procedures related to all Asset Management
  • Interaction with internal customers, external service providers, internal IT teams and business departments

Occasional:

  • Lead, implement and support IT related projects as directed by the manager
  • Manage and build supplier relationships

What we need from you:

  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and/or O365
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong service focus
  • High degree of attention to detail, as well as desire to ensure that standards are adhered to
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new learning
  • Must have strong process, numeracy and administration skills
  • Experience with ServiceNOW or similar ticketing/asset management tool
  • Ability to question current status quo and implement change
  • Experience in Asset and Life Cycle Management

Desired

  • Experience with computer hardware and models
  • Experience and knowledge of Lean methodologies and practices
