Job Profile Summary

The People Analytics Integrator team is responsible for educating the business on the availability and intended usage of P&C data, working with our customer groups and technical teams on the development of new tools and providing analysis and insights for assigned support areas.

As a Senior Solution Lead (SL) you will build a strong partnership with the centres of expertise, integrators, services teams and within the solutions teams. The role holder will apply technical expertise (process and technology) to deliver stable operations alongside projects and innovation. You will become a trusted business adviser providing ad hoc analytics as well as ensuring your client groups are using all available reporting and analytic tools.

A successful candidate will combine subject matter knowledge, technical expertise and an ability to quickly understand complex problems!

About the role:
  • Responsible for the People Analytics relationship with Entity and Centre of Excellence needs. Working closely with colleagues to ensure solutions / products co-exist seamlessly across P&C
  • Gain an in depth knowledge of the BP reporting environment and available tools to access gaps or present available options as issues arise.
  • Truly understanding the business requirements and acting as a trusted adviser to develop solutions to complex problems, driving the required outcomes - actively elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements through requirements workshops, interviews or meeting sessions with Project Sponsors, SMEs and other Stakeholders to diagnose and resolve complex technical, process, and business issues related to your part of the P&C solution
  • Provide insights (both solicited and unsolicited) to respective client groups on patterns in data sources.
  • Research and resolve process and technical problems, unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Supporting BP to be a thought-leader in the relevant technology space through ongoing external networking and tech landscape analysis

Job Advert About you:


Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.

A depth of knowledge in HR systems, business analysis, process development / documentation and supporting HR business,

Solid understanding of HR guidelines and standard methodologies as well as Exceptional skills and expertise of business processes, and IT systems related to HR systems

Adept at working on multiple concurrent projects with nominal supervision

Extensive understanding / experience using Excel as well as relevant data analytics experience.

Technical Capability

A specialist within People Analytics, able to provide strategic guidance and direction within your area

Demonstrable knowledge of HR information systems, including experience in designing and configuring business processes in various HR applications

Experience of translating business requirements into functional designs

Exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices.

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills - curiosity to get to the root cause and continuously learning

Business Capability

Proven track record of evaluating and driving solutions - deeply integrated to ultimately improve business engagement and positively disrupt, where necessary

Able to engage with and influence key colleagues, building trust through a consultative and coaching style. Is continually enhancing skills in active listening, influencing and communication

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and technical colleagues, and end users, with a passion for customer service

Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution

Experience of succeeding in complex and changing environments, including ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle daily planned and unplanned operational activities

Effective communication skills, flexible style able to communicate effectively at all levels

Strong influencing skills - able to gain acceptance to ideas from senior stakeholders and comfortable in the space of challenge and difficult conversations

Applies judgement and common sense at scale - demonstrates global understanding of the wider business in support of cross segment/border working and ability to apply sound judgement / wise counsel

In addition, it would be helpful if you have :

  • Project management experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience working within a global organisation, including using social media style tools to support communications and engagement across time zones
