Test Engineer

Test Engineer with strong automated testing experience (Cucumber, Cypress etc) is sought on a remote basis by a market leading innovation organisation based in central Leeds.

With a rich pedigree of delivering complete technical solutions for international brands around the world this Test Engineer will join a team of 6 QA's and will play a key part in the migration from a manual to automated testing environment.

This role would suit a Test Engineer who perhaps wants to work on a more diverse technical portfolio or an individual who is looking for a clear progression path into a senior, leadership role in the coming months.

In return this Test Engineer can expect long term remote working with extensive flexibility around working hours.

This Test Engineer should have most of the following key skills:
- Solid API testing skills
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools - Cucumber, Selenium, Numan, Cypress etc
- A foundation level understanding of development (ideally in JavaScript) with the ability to add automated tests to the automation infrastructure
- Solid manual testing background
- Database testing exposure
- Working knowledge of Git (or alternative VCS)
- Proven ability driving QA processes forward
- An understanding of cloud (AWS) deployment using CI/CD pipelines would be a real plus
