Infrastructure Engineer/Application Deployment Engineer - Citrix and Linux

Infrastructure Engineer/Application Deployment Engineer required by a large Financial Services/Investment Management firm with a great working environment, scope for career progression and fantastic benefits. You will be responsible for implementation, deployment and support of a suite of business applications on a mixture of enterprise Cloud infrastructure environments and hosted on windows Servers.

You will need to have previous experience of working in the Financial Services sector with application specific technology skills (eg database configuration, access control ext.) and experience of application delivery through Citrix (working closely with development teams). Deployment of applications to a cloud infrastructure such as AWS (EC2, VPC, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) or equivalent Azure IaaS services. You should also have experience using an ITSM tool (eg Service Now) and strong knowledge of ITIL.

You must have 3 years+ experience migrating, building, and deploying systems and applications with experience of configuration management tools and automation in infrastructure management. In addition to 5 years+ Linux and Microsoft server management, including Hyper-V with extensive experience of Active Directory.

Desirable skills/experience:
* Citrix XenApp 7.x.
* Orchestration (SCORCH).
* Proactive monitoring (SCOM or Nagios or EdgeSight).
* SQL, App-V.
* HP Rack and Blade Servers.
* Up to date knowledge of Cyber security concepts and issues.
* PowerShell and Json experience.
* Linux/Unix Scripting with Shell, Bash, Perl or Python
* System center products such as SCVMM, SCCM.
* Working knowledge with DevOps tools such as TerraForm or equivalent
