Front End Web Developer Junior/Mid - Leicester

Salary - £21k - £24k + Hybrid Working

The client specialises in online marketing from website design, Search Engine Optimisation, and PPC through to email marketing, online advertising, and social media management. Customers range from blue-chip national companies and brands to smaller specialist businesses, covering many market sectors.

The Role:

They are currently seeking a Frontend Developer to join the digital department to work on a diverse range of online projects for clients. This is a great opportunity to join a long-established and highly successful agency set up in the heart of Leicester.

Role Responsibilities:

• You'll be working in the Digital department alongside Developers, SEO & PPC specialists and Project Managers in a fast paced, bustling and highly rewarding Agency environment.
• You will work across a variety of business sectors including Property, Automotive, Technology, Manufacturing and Education to name just a handful.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• WordPress knowledge and prior experience (theme creation from PSD's).
• Email build (HTML) experience.
• Mobile responsive CSS experience.
• An ability to work both efficiently and with high levels of accuracy.
• Web server administration experience.
• A demonstrable portfolio of relevant projects and works.
• An understanding of development SEO best practices

Desired Skills:

• Any experience or an interest in php development would be advantageous.
• Magento/eCommerce experience desirable but not essential.
• Agency experience desirable but not essential.
• Web server administration experience.
• Git experience.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm with 1-hour lunch from 1 pm - 2 pm
• 2 days in Leicester office per week
• 3 days from home per week.
• Days in are Monday & Wednesday
