PHP Developer - Laravel

Up to 50k + 3 days per week remote (Berkshire)

I'm working with a fast-growing technology company who are partnered with household names such as Tesco's & ITV to provide cutting edge software solutions. They are currently focused on optimising the performance and speed of their applications and need a talented new developer to help with this.

You'll be a vital part of the team helping to design and build new features, as well as to improve the overall quality of our existing codebase. Along with a talented team of developers, you'll be solving interesting and challenging problems, whilst using industry best practices to create scalable software solutions. You will work within a busy agile software development team focused on short development sprints and regular release cycles.

Key Skills

• Strong level of OOP programming with PHP
• Commercial experience with Laravel framework
• Experience with front end technologies; JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery
• Using Git for version control
• Working within an agile software development team
• Prior experience of optimising speed & performance of software applications

Desirable skills

• TDD, Unit testing, Integration testing
• Knowledge of common design patterns
• Experience working in an AWS environment
• Prior experience with JS frameworks; AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS …
• Knowledge of APIs (RESTful, oAuth)
