Data Protection Consultant - Backup, Veeam, Dell/EMC - Up To £75,000 + Car Allowance

My client, a globally popular MSP with a revenue of over £5 billion has opened up a brand new opportunity for a Data Protection consultant to join their ever-expanding business! Arguably the leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, they pride themselves on their friendly, diverse personalities that make up a fantastic team of over 15,000 consultants worldwide.

The Ideal Person

The ideal person for this role will be an organised and hard working consultant. Someone who is hungry, passionate and a no job is too big or too small kind of consultant!

The following skills are also required:

• Hands on design and delivery work
• Veeam Backup experience
• Dell/EMC, Rubrik, Commvault
• Experience with virtualisation platforms

The Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for a Data Protection Consultant to come and join their constant expanding team! In this role you will be responsible for the design and implementation of data protection and backup projects, with a fantastic opportunity to progress your skills up the ranks into an architecture, practice lead or team lead role.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Designing and delivering Data Protection Solutions, serving as the technical point of contact for engineers and fellow consultants
• Take on consultancy assignments and provide solutions to clients either working in a team or individually
• Gather data to assist architects in designing new platforms for clients
• Produce documentation and SoW, keeping all parties up to date
• Knowledge transferral to customers and/or third parties
