We're hiring!

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious application architect to join our business technology team working in the Retirement and Investment space.

With a technical focus, you'll lead the design and development of IT solutions in EMEA whilst driving the technical roadmap/vision, initially working mainly with developments using the Microsoft stack (full ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core MVC, Angular, Typescript).

About the Role

Your impact as Application Architect:
  • Designing software solutions, directing the design of new applications from conception to completion and oversee the technical staff involved with the development project
  • Providing technical leadership to team members, on/offshore
  • Participating in all agile ceremonies including Daily Stand Ups, Retrospectives, Sprint Planning and Sprint Review
  • Supporting the team in project planning activities, estimating, evaluating risks, and prioritizes needs based on requirements
  • Participating in formal code reviews to ensure standards are being met
  • Reviewing and refactoring backend/frontend code using C#, TypeScript, JavaScript
  • Assisting and supporting removal of technical debt
  • Conducting root cause analysis and resolution of application bug fixes
  • Working closely with stakeholders to define product roadmaps/vision
  • Defining, implementing and evangelising software development best practice
  • Evaluating and implementing new technologies to support/enhance existing applications
  • Mentoring other key staff
  • Acting as a point of contact with other technology departments
