Senior Backend Developer

A computer software company who are expanding across the globe are looking for a passionate Senior Backend Developer who will maintain and develop their award-winning API frameworks.

Responsibilities of the Senior Backend Developer include:

• Developing security-focused endpoints for both internal and external use
• Building, developing and designing innovative and unique services
• Building efficient PHP modules that are reusable and testable
  
  • Assisting with the development of less experienced developers through the use of technical leadership skills

Requirements of the Senior Backend Developer include:

• 5+ years of experience with the Laravel framework
• Experience working with high volumes of API endpoints
• Knowledge of Vue.js is a plus
• Experience working in a fintech or startup
• Capable of working autonomously

This is a contract opportunity and the client is offering upwards of £500 per day depending on experience. This is also a remote opportunity so the successful candidate must be able to work independently. There is scope for a permanent role for the right candidate at the conclusion of the initial contract.
