.NET Architect

A leading education institution are seeking a .Net Architect to join their established web and application development team on a permanent basis (UK based, fully or partially remote) to support the expansion of their global customer base. The lead .Net Architect will be focussed on translating the requirements of internal business stakeholders into software solutions, working with the existing Architect and team leaders to design and implement designs and development plans. This would be alongside defining the best practices and development methodologies used for developing, testing and delivering solutions to the business, taking a leading role in defining the processes and methodologies used by the development function in the medium and long term.

The lead .Net Architect would be joining at a crucial time in the institution's ongoing digital transformation, supporting the growth of their online course delivery and e-learning capabilities with a scalable, secure web presence to enable the next phase in their online growth. This is in addition to enabling their growth into new UK and international markets with internal applications and software solutions delivered according the bespoke requirements defined by internal stakeholders.

.Net Architect - Required Skills and Experience:

• Software design/architecture experience either as an architect or senior developer
• Proven experience either as a software architect or as a Senior .Net developer
• C# .Net, SQL and TFS/GIT based development experience
• Design pattern and best practice implementation

.Net Architect - Ideal Experience:

• Education sector, e-learning or customer facing web-platform experience
• Full stack C# .Net Core and VueJS development experience
• Scrum master, Business Analyst or experience in other business facing roles
