ShortList Recruitment are working with a state-of-the-art software house based in Warrington who are recruiting for a Test Framework Lead to join their team on a fully remote basis.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player who enjoys both technical challenges within a fast-paced environment, applies sound judgement and enjoys working both individually and as part of the team.

You must have a proven track record in test automation skills and strong experience to both web-based, desktop and API automation toolsets. You should have a background in design and implementing automation frameworks and the maintenance of existing frameworks.

The Test Framework Lead will have experience designing tests using Selenium in a BDD context (using .Net tools such as Specflow) and have a strong understanding of the concepts of a Page Object Model framework.

Key skills for this role:

• Ability to build out test automation frameworks using a range of tools
  
• Experience designing tests using Selenium in a BDD context (Specflow)
  
• C# .Net code
  
• Page Object Model framework conceptual knowledge
  
• Experience extracting test scenarios, building these out into test cases
  
• Ability to prepare and deliver training and guidance on automation for the QA team
  
• Passion and drive to develop skills with test automation toolsets and processes
  
• ISTQB qualified
  
• Experience designing automated testing for APIs
  
• Collaboration with DevOps
  
• Degree educated, Computer Science or related subject
  

The successful candidate will be entitled to a salary of up to £70,000 (DOE) plus a range of benefits. The position will be fully remote and will continue to be so once restrictions ease, with no requirement to come into the office.
