ShortList Recruitment are working with a leading retailer in Manchester who are recruiting for a Customer Insight Analyst to join their growing Business Intelligence function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with key stakeholders on gaps in their understanding and within the business, and produce the required reports, analysis and insight needs.

You will be responsible for market and customer insight generation, identifying and collecting appropriate customer, competitor and market data such as pricing, market share and proposition changes.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months' experience in an eCommerce environment within a data team, with strong SQL and Advanced Excel skills.

Key skills required for the Customer Insight Analyst:

• SQL Server (2012)

• Proven background in an analytical/insight role
  
• Solid experience in data analysis and reporting
  
• Strong communicator
  
• Previous experience in a ecommerce environment
  
• Google Analytics / BigQuery
  
• Strong analytical skills combined with strong commercial acumen
  
• Stakeholder management

The Customer Insight Analyst role is paying up to £32,000 (DOE) plus benefits and bonus scheme. The role will be fully remote initially before reverting to 3 days in the Manchester office long-term, with the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
