ShortList Recruitment are looking for a Test Analyst to join a superb client based in Birkenhead to carry out test planning, execution and defect management on assigned projects to support live issues.

The successful candidate will be a strong manual, functional and regression software tester with ideally a minimum of 2 years' commercial experience in a fast-paced environment.

The Test Analyst will be responsible for carrying out a range of manual and functional tests and create high quality test cases to validate requirements have been met. You will perform a variety of testing types when required and work collaboratively with the developers, other testers and the project teams.

Key skills required for the Test Analyst:

• Minimum 2 years' commercial experience in manual, regression and functional testing
  
• Demonstrable ability to carry out quality testing
  
• Ability to use SQL to query databases
  
• Ability to create test cases, scripts and test plans to requirement
  
• Defect management/bug tracking (JIRA)
  
• Agile development environment experience
  
• ISTQB qualified
  
• Degree educated in Computer Science or similar subject
  

In return, the successful Test Analyst will be entitled to a salary of up to £30,000 (DOE) plus a range of benefits. The role will give flexibility to continue to retain some remote work in a post-Covid world.
