Our client is a leading specialist their industry providing global software solutions, customer retention, pricing and asset risk management systems delivered through innovative and fully integrated software modules to 'blue chip' customers. They are currently recruiting an Oracle Database Developer with strong PL/SQL skills to join the team.
The team are working remotely at the moment and will transition to working from home and one day a week in the office post lockdown.
Purpose of role
The role of Oracle Database Developer will involve working throughout the full software development lifecycle on web based projects. The Oracle Database Developer will be part of a team that is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of web solutions. The ideal Oracle Database Developer will have 3+ years of commercial experience within database development.
Oracle Database Developer Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new applications
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
- Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
- Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
- Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
Oracle Database Developer Essential
- Database development experience in a commercial environment
- Strong PL/SQL skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Knowledge of Oracle Database 12c
- Strong mathematical ability
- Good communication skills

Oracle Database Developer Remuneration
- Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (depending on knowledge/experience)
- Company pension and bonus scheme following successful completion of 3 month probation period
- Up to 25 days holiday per calendar year dependant on service
- Company events throughout the Year
