My client, a leading debt purchaser and financial service provider based in Caerphilly, are looking for an IT Support Engineer to start ASAP on a 6 month basis.
You will be responsible for the smooth functioning of infrastructure and operational environments that support applications and sysems, some of your main responsibilities will include -
- Maintaining a ticket system for all infrastructure queries and escalations
- Undertake problem management, find the root course and ressolve the issue within a timely matter
- Build, monitor, maintain and support infrastructure including servers, backup solutions, data, storage, firewalls etc
Essential Skillis:
- Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, CBA, MFA, Teams)
- Experience of remote desktops such as Citrix Desktop and VDI
- Virtualisation technology experience (VMWare)
- Previous experience working in an IT role implementing change and projects withing a busy IT team to support technical solutions
- Experience in Wintel

- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills to ensure work is completed on time
- Self-motivated, punctual, and flexible in your approach to work
- Commitment to personal development and keeping up to date with current industry trends, technologies and best practices
The successfull candidate will receive a competetive rate between £300-£400 per day outside IR35, depending on experience.
