Description
This role is required to work with one or more project managers to gather requirements, analyse, document, and propose solutions for large and/or complex business or IT areas including workflow, functional specifications, IT and process improvement. You'll perform up front analysis, establish business requirements, ensuring that work is planned and controlled, and providing a drive towards continual improvement.
Some work will be required to assist in supporting the definition and delivery of the target operating model.
This role works closely with the business to understand the operating environment, challenges, risks and opportunities and combines this business understanding with technical knowledge from HE and an industry perspective to identify, shape and promote appropriate solutions or process improvements that create clear business value.
Profile
You will have a background in business analysis and business process analysis and will be well versed in modelling complex IT and operational processes. You must be comfortable in your ability to elicit requirements, both technical and operational from stakeholders and end clients and you must be able to demonstrate clear understanding of common BPMN 2.0 elements and principles. You will work closely with key stakeholders and need to build good quality relationships, you will therefore be required to be empathetic, a lateral thinker and sensitive whilst being able to effectively seek and analyse information and get your job done to a high standard.
We are keen to attract passionate people with a solid experience of improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, BPR, BPM and BA certifications) and a proven track record of applying them in either a project or continuous improvement environment. You need to be familiar with current and forward thinking business analysis tools and methods to help drive process re-engineering, requirements gathering and business transformation. Solid communication skills, a proven track record and of exceeding customer expectations and improving service levels as well as a self-starter attitude will be required to be successful in this role..
