Job Description

Technical Support Engineer

A SaaS company based in central London is looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis. You will be joining their team of Support Engineers providing technical help as well as helping the 1st line support team investigate and resolve customer queries.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with customer and 1st line support team
  • Effectively communicate with customers about the nature of their reported technical issues.
  • Need to be able to proactively manage workload
  • Need to be able to handle difficult situations
  • To have the ability to identify the root issues customers are experiencing and recommend actions to avoid the issue occurring again.
  • Manage the escalation of tickets that have been assigned to you, communicating across the business to other employees where deemed suitable.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SQL server Databases - Certificate would be highly desirable
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Azure - Certificate would be highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 3 years of experience
  • Experience in the education sector would be an advantage.
