Technical Support Engineer
A SaaS company based in central London is looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis. You will be joining their team of Support Engineers providing technical help as well as helping the 1st line support team investigate and resolve customer queries.
Key responsibilities
- Work with customer and 1st line support team
- Effectively communicate with customers about the nature of their reported technical issues.
- Need to be able to proactively manage workload
- Need to be able to handle difficult situations
- To have the ability to identify the root issues customers are experiencing and recommend actions to avoid the issue occurring again.
- Manage the escalation of tickets that have been assigned to you, communicating across the business to other employees where deemed suitable.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL server Databases - Certificate would be highly desirable
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure - Certificate would be highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3 years of experience
- Experience in the education sector would be an advantage.
