Salary: £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 D.O.E.

Location: Cambridge (Hybrid working)

Our client runs a networking service for large institutions across the world, providing its users with access to analysis, computing, applications, storage and other resources.

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work within their highly collaborative software team, located from their Cambridge office.

The main focus of this role will be on projects supporting various business functions within the organisation. Alongside this, you will contribute to projects that facilitate collaboration in their research and education community whilst also managing and improving their network.

Key Requirements

• Experience of architecting, designing, developing, testing and implementing bespoke information systems in Java and related technologies.
• Experience of Java / J2EE based web services.
• Spring / SpringBoot frameworks experience.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and Javascript.
• HTML/CSS development experience.
