Our client is a leading global customer communications company that gets their clients' customers to engage with brands through marketing communications involving a mix of data, creative, technology, insight and ideas. The firm contacts every UK household at least once a week on behalf of the some of the best known and influential global brands.

The role

Reporting to the Inbound Development Manager, the .NET developer will assume responsibility for the design, development and unit testing of medium to large pieces of development and work closely with other team members to produce quality software applications. You will act as a technical expert within the .NET development area. Driving technological change and recommending new technologies to the team, you will be seen as the SME for .NET development while being able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff. You will work effectively with internal customers and adhere to quality processes.

The requirements

Possessing a relevant degree, foundation degree or BTEC HNC/HND (Computer Science/Studies, information technology, software development, software engineering, business information systems), you should have in-depth experience of .NET web framework with a good knowledge of their ecosystems amounting to 3 years+. Exhibiting a proven understanding of web technologies including Bootstrap 5 and Angular you will be familiar with various design and architectural patterns. Knowledge of concurrency patterns along with decent Microsoft SQL Server skills including T-SQL, stored procedures and triggers are expected. Experience of Azure devops or other CI frameworks and Mobile development experience will be advantageous.
