Job Description

My client has a global Network Services division that provides consultancy, network management, data centre solutions and managed services to leading companies in the financial services, telecommunications, media, government and utilities sectors.

They are seeking talented individuals who are incredibly inquisitive and with an outcome focused mindset.

They want to hear from strong sales people who have experience in technology consultancy, systems integrator or Service Provider environments selling into Technology, Media and Telecom organisations. As an Account Director you will be responsible for retaining, growing revenues within existing clients and acquire new logo clients.

This role will be located in London; qualified candidates should have experience working with enterprise customers and be capable of frequent travel to engage with our clients at their premises.

Job Specifications:

Direct responsibilities:

  • Develop Account Development Plan and Strategy for all managed customers.
  • Retain and grow existing client revenues through successful implementation of account of management plans.
  • Monitor Progress against agreed customer goals, identify changes and feedback accordingly.
  • Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant customer stakeholders to build the client brand within existing customers.
  • Where appropriate, develop closure plans to identify and track progress against renewal opportunities.
  • Understand customer process to ensure any/all renewal process is completed smoothly.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within an existing set of customers.
  • Where appropriate, develop closure plans to identify and track progress against new opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients and establish contact proactively through a variety of channels, including exhibitions, social media and enterprise technology forums

Job Qualifications

  • Experience of selling technology services/solutions to large enterprises across financial services, utilities, media, telecommunications or government sectors.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Able to represent my client's propositions confidently and establish credibility as a subject matter expert in technology professional services.
  • Able to work effectively in fast-paced, self-directed and empowered environment.
  • Able to succeed in addressing clients across UK, including travel to visit existing and prospective clients.
  • Able to communicate solutions that address complex technical issues that help our customers meet their desired outcomes.
