QA / Test Engineer / FINTECH / Devops & Cloud - Build the Test Function LON

Test Engineer,

My client is a is a high growth Fintech working within the clean energy sector.

They are looking for an experienced test engineer to build out an independent QA function within their established London team.

As part of the Engineering hub at my client, you will work closely with the developers to ensure that our platform is well-tested and robust.

You will constantly look for ways to make the processes more efficient and automate as much testing as possible, but also perform systematic, well documented manual testing where necessary.

The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional testing and problem-solving skills.

This position requires initiative, attention to detail, the ability to adapt and learn quickly and a passion for delivering strategic value in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Requirement skills and knowledge:

• 5+ years of relevant experience desired in a fast-paced, dynamic tech company
• Advanced hands-on experience setting up and using automated test frameworks for React.js / ASP .NET Core web applications, including front-end and integration testing
• Great communication skills, helping to drive the highest of standards
• Passion for Company's mission

Desirable skills and knowledge:

• Cloud engineering, including setting up devops pipelines
• React.js / C# / SQL development skills
• An understanding of financial markets and trading
• JIRA and Agile methodologies
• Setting up monitoring frameworks and creating dashboards
• Requirement gathering, developing specifications and creating test cases in advance of development
