Job Description

IT Manager // £70,000 plus Bonus // Multiple Location Options

CPS Group are currently partnered with a well established yet modestly sized business in aiding them to secure a talented IT Manager to drive strategy and operations through an exciting period of change.
This role will provide strategic leadership, ensuring that the IT strategy and systems are developed, maintained, implemented and continuously improved in a standardised way.

You will be covering three key areas within the business:
*IT Strategy
*IT Operations
*Team/Matrix Management / Building a team.

Key responsibilities would include:

*To create and deliver the vision for the Service Delivery and IT Infrastructure workstream.
*To control, develop and deploy the IT technology infrastructure in an innovative but secure manner to help the business achieve its strategic and operational objective.
*To support the consolidation of the Business Processes Strategy working collaboratively with Peers and key stakeholders, creating and owning a robust set of governance standards and business rules.
*To define and drive the implementation and adherence to a suite of enablers to govern an IT Service & Project framework and to enable processing, tracking and decision-making efficiencies.
*To define and drive the implementation and adherence to a suite of KPI to assess the IT Service & Project framework performance.
*To define and manage the workstream's budget
*To serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, trust, and collaboration. To ensure the business requests are categorised and triaged in an effective and efficient manner.
*To ensure the business requests are registered and processed in an effective and efficient manner.
*To adhere to the Project Policy and subsequently control and monitor the adherence to this Policy.
*To support the creation of the IT governance framework & standards - including IT Processes.
*To control and monitor the adherence to Standards.
*To work closely with the other Business Processes workstreams to successfully embed solution change requests.
*To control and monitor the performance of the team through the implementation of a robust recurrent work routine
*To drive the design of output metrics, scorecards, and dashboards.
*To monitor and report team performance in line with agreed metrics.
*To provide knowledge transfer, training and coaching to peers & team members.
*To collaborate with the Business partners to provide guidance, training and establish best practice with regards to IT activities.
